I was worried about him. A regular patient in our office for over 12 years, Kevin and his family live in a home in the fire zone in Sonoma County. As soon as he saw me he told me “The fire stopped 5 miles from our house after the wind died down.” As he lay down on my table for his weekly adjustment, I noticed his back was in unusually bad shape and I asked him why. He said he had been sleeping on his couch because he and his family had opened up their house to friends and neighbors who lost their homes to the raging Tubbs Fire in Sonoma County. Wow! He is an example of selflessness and generosity in a time when it is needed the most. Way to go Kevin!
