Dr. Pooja Manchanda
Dr. Pooja Manchanda knew she wanted a career in healthcare since her childhood. She was on the path of becoming a medical doctor and realized that traditional medicine wasn’t the right path for her. Becoming a chiropractor did appeal to her. She was immediately drawn to the profession because it is an effective way to get people out of pain without the use of drugs or surgery and get them back to doing the things they love.
As a trained martial artist having a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Dr. Pooja has seen many sports injuries first hand that could be helped by chiropractic. She began providing care for athletes at many sports events in the Bay Area, including the San Francisco Half Marathon and Sea Otter Classic.
Dr. Pooja’s passion is to help others get out of pain and get them back to doing the things they love. She has also been able to take her passion abroad by completing chiropractic mission trips in El Salvador and Fiji, which involved treating hundreds of patients in a short period of time.
Dr. Pooja received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus. Dr. Pooja is RockTape certified, Applied Kinesiology certified, Gavilan certified, and is currently working on becoming a Chiropractic Certified Sports Physician (CCSP). She served as a board member for 2 years on the Sports Council at Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus. She is also a current member of Business Network International in San Francisco.
